The objective of the Sub-Fund is to achieve a long-term return in excess of the Benchmark by actively investing primarily in a portfolio of emerging market companies. The Sub-Fund aims to invest at least 67% of its assets (excluding assets held for ancillary liquidity purposes) in equity securities of companies (including smaller capitalisation companies) that are domiciled in, or carrying out the main part of their economic activity in, an emerging market country.
