Hvordan vil dette p\u00e5virke andelseiere i et rentefond?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I min jobb som portef\u00f8ljeforvalter av rentefond f\u00e5r jeg ofte h\u00f8re at stigende renter f\u00f8rer til at rentepapirer og rentefond faller i verdi. Dette er en utbredt misforst\u00e5else og i denne artikkelen skal jeg utdype dette temaet n\u00e6rmere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Stigende renter og rentefond<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Det er i hovedsak to typer rentepapirer i et rentefond; fastrente obligasjoner og flytende rente obligasjoner. Som navnet tilsier har fastrente obligasjoner en fast kupong gjennom l\u00e5nets l\u00f8petid og verdien p\u00e5 fastrente obligasjoner g\u00e5r i motsatt retning av endringer i markedsrenten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flytende rente obligasjoner derimot, er obligasjoner der utsteder betaler et fast kredittp\u00e5slag over en markedsrente, ofte betegnet som referanserente. Dette er et m\u00e5l for fondets f\u00f8lsomhet for endringer i markedsrentene. Hvis et fond har en rentedurasjon p\u00e5 3 \u00e5r, vil en renteoppgang p\u00e5 ett prosentpoeng gi en kursnedgang p\u00e5 3 prosent og vice versa ved en rentenedgang. Jo lavere rentedurasjon et fond har, jo lavere renterisiko har man som andelseier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nordnet.no\/market\/funds\/16802719-landkreditt-hoyrente\">Landkreditt H\u00f8yrente<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 Et godt alternativ til bankinnskudd<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nordnet.no\/market\/funds\/16802719-landkreditt-hoyrente\">Landkreditt H\u00f8yrente<\/a> er et rentefond som investerer minimum 65 prosent av sin portef\u00f8lje i bank- og finansobligasjoner med lav kredittrisiko. I tillegg har fondet \u00e5pning for \u00e5 investere maksimalt 35 prosent av fondet i selskapsobligasjoner med noe h\u00f8yere kredittrisiko. Landkreditt H\u00f8yrente ble etablert i november 2005 og har aldri levert negativ avkastning i et kalender\u00e5r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fondet investerer kun i flytende rente obligasjoner og rentedurasjonen til Landkreditt H\u00f8yrente ved utgangen av oktober 2021 var 0,13 \u00e5r. Stigende renter sl\u00e5r fort inn p\u00e5 den l\u00f8pende avkastningen i fondet, da fondet p\u00e5 det samme tidspunktet hadde 79 ulike posisjoner. Disse posisjonene f\u00e5r en ny kupong hver tredje m\u00e5ned, noe som inneb\u00e6rer at fondet opplever 316 kupongjusteringer i l\u00f8pet av et \u00e5r. Effektiv rente kan endres fra dag til dag og er ingen garanti for fremtidig avkastning, men kan betraktes som en indikasjon p\u00e5 forventet avkastning de neste 12 m\u00e5nedene. Dette forutsetter dog at man ikke opplever store kursbevegelser i fondets posisjoner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi kan benytte effektiv rente som en illustrasjon p\u00e5 hvordan endringer i rentene sl\u00e5r fort inn p\u00e5 den l\u00f8pende avkastningen i Landkreditt H\u00f8yrente. I dette eksempelet ser vi p\u00e5 netto effektiv rente, det vil si effektiv rente etter forvaltningshonorar. Den effektive renten i fondet har steget fra 1,35 prosent ved utgangen av juni og opp til 1,93 prosent ved utgangen av oktober, en \u00f8kning p\u00e5 0,58 prosentenheter.
