Mange har en mening om dette, men hvordan tester man det? <br><br>En veldig konkret tiln\u00e6rming ville v\u00e6re \u00e5 se p\u00e5 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nordnet.dk\/investeringsforeninger\/liste\/portfolio-man-ai-alpha-lab-pmiaan-xcse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">fondet<\/a> v\u00e5rt, som nettopp har feiret sin 2-\u00e5rsdag. V\u00e5r AI-modell velger alle aksjer i fondet, og per 16. desember 2025 har det gitt en avkastning p\u00e5 45,7 %, mens det generelle aksjemarkedet har gitt en avkastning p\u00e5 39,7 % i samme periode, representert av <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nordnet.no\/etf\/liste\/i-shares-core-msci-world-eunl-xeta\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nordnet.no\/etf\/liste\/i-shares-core-msci-world-eunl-xeta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">iShares Core MSCI World UCITS ETF<\/a>. <br><br>Men etter v\u00e5r mening er omtrent 2 \u00e5r altfor kort tid til \u00e5 trekke noen konklusjoner. Som med det meste vi gj\u00f8r, vil vi n\u00e6rme oss sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5let ovenfor med en vitenskapelig tiln\u00e6rming. For \u00e5 gj\u00f8re det trenger vi en hypotese som vi kan teste. <br><br>Vi har kommet til den konklusjonen at den mest relevante hypotesen er f\u00f8lgende: \u00ab<em>Kan vi benekte at AI kan ta gode investeringsbeslutninger?<\/em>\u00bb Mange vil sannsynligvis mene at dette er en litt invertert hypotese. Men det er en utbredt misforst\u00e5else som g\u00e5r igjen b\u00e5de i laboratoriet, p\u00e5 b\u00f8rsen og i m\u00f8tet med AI: troen p\u00e5 at teknologien eller dataene i seg selv gir svarene. <br><br>Sannheten er det motsatte. God bruk av AI begynner ikke med AI. Den begynner med en hypotese. I vitenskapen starter alt med et sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l: Hvordan henger dette sammen? <br><br>Forskeren formulerer en hypotese, en kvalifisert antagelse om hvordan verden fungerer. En hypotese er ikke bevis, men et forslag som kan testes. Den vitenskapelige metoden inneb\u00e6rer deretter systematisk \u00e5 teste denne hypotesen gjennom observasjoner, eksperimenter og dataanalyse. N\u00f8kkelen er ikke \u00e5 lete etter bekreftelse, men etter tilbakevisning. <br><br>Et viktig poeng som mange utenfor forskningsverdenen misforst\u00e5r, er at vitenskapen sjelden beviser noe definitivt. I stedet s\u00f8ker den \u00e5 motbevise hypoteser. Hvis en hypotese gjentatte ganger overlever fors\u00f8k p\u00e5 \u00e5 bli motbevist, f\u00e5r den st\u00f8rre troverdighet, men den kan alltid endres hvis nye bevis dukker opp. En god forsker pr\u00f8ver aktivt \u00e5 falsifisere hypotesen sin. Hvis han mislykkes, blir den sterkere, men aldri ufeilbarlig. <br><br>Et klassisk eksempel kommer fra vitenskapsfilosofen Karl Popper (1902\u20131994), som gjorde falsifisering til et sentralt prinsipp: En p\u00e5stand er bare vitenskapelig hvis den kan falsifiseres. Det vil si hvis man kan tenke seg et eksperiment som kan vise at den er feil. Eller med andre ord: En teori er bare vitenskapelig hvis den kan motbevises. <br><br>Det er denne evnen til \u00e5 bli utfordret som skiller kunnskap fra tro. Mange tror at n\u00e5r \u00abvitenskapen har bevist noe\u00bb, er det ugjenkallelig sant. I virkeligheten jobber forskere med sannsynlighetsgrader. Vitenskapelig kunnskap utvikler seg etter hvert som nye data endrer v\u00e5r forst\u00e5else. <br><br>En annen vanlig misforst\u00e5else er at man kan \u00abbevise\u00bb en sammenheng bare ved \u00e5 finne et m\u00f8nster. Korrelasjon er ikke det samme som \u00e5rsakssammenheng. Bare fordi to ting skjer samtidig, betyr det ikke at den ene for\u00e5rsaker den andre.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tennis-1\"><strong>AI som et vitenskapelig verkt\u00f8y, ikke som et sannhetens orakel<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ghostkit-custom-Zkvedf\">AI er et kraftig verkt\u00f8y for \u00e5 analysere data, finne m\u00f8nstre og generere forslag. Det er imidlertid bare s\u00e5 nyttig som hypotesen den opererer p\u00e5. <br><br>Hvis du mater en AI-modell med et d\u00e5rlig formulert sp\u00f8rsm\u00e5l, vil du f\u00e5 et raskt og velargumentert, men fortsatt meningsl\u00f8st svar. Det er her mange brukere feiler: de starter med teknologien i stedet for tankesettet. Det samme prinsippet gjelder n\u00e5r man investerer. Hver investering er basert p\u00e5 en investeringshypotese \u2013 en id\u00e9 om hvorfor en bestemt aksje, sektor eller strategi vil prestere. <br><br>Den vitenskapelige tiln\u00e6rmingen er som f\u00f8lger: <br>1. Formuler en hypotese. Hva vil du unders\u00f8ke eller avklare? <br>2. Bruk AI til \u00e5 teste eller utfordre den. <br>3. Se etter bevis for tilbakevisning. Ikke bare bekreftelse. <br><br>For eksempel kan en analytiker formulere f\u00f8lgende hypotese: \u00abSelskaper som investerer tidlig i b\u00e6rekraftig teknologi har bedre langsiktig inntjening.\u00bb AI kan deretter bidra til \u00e5 analysere regnskaper, markedstrender og nyhetsdata for \u00e5 teste om hypotesen holder m\u00e5l \u2013 eller b\u00f8r forkastes. Her blir ikke AI en sp\u00e5kone, men et verkt\u00f8y for systematisk tvil. <br><br>I likhet med forskeren m\u00e5 investoren akseptere at en hypotese kan vise seg \u00e5 v\u00e6re feil \u2013 og handle deretter. Dette er ikke et nederlag, men en del av den vitenskapelige prosessen. <br><br>Hos AI Alpha Lab h\u00f8rer vi ofte utsagnet: \u00ab<em>Jeg tror ikke AI kan skape god investeringsavkastning.<\/em>\u00bb Dette er en problematisk tiln\u00e6rming som ofte er basert p\u00e5 ikke noe mer enn gjetting og halvsannheter. I stedet b\u00f8r investorer etter v\u00e5r mening n\u00e6rme seg nye investeringsmuligheter, inkludert AI, med f\u00f8lgende tankegang: \u00ab<em>Jeg tror AI kan forbedre avkastningen min, men la meg pr\u00f8ve \u00e5 motbevise det.<\/em>\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tennis-1\"><strong>Markedet som et laboratorium<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ghostkit-custom-ZmPQkv\">Investeringer er fundamentalt sett eksperimenter i \u00f8konomisk atferd. Enhver beslutning er basert p\u00e5 en hypotese om fremtiden. For eksempel kan en investor tenke: \u00abRentene vil falle innen et \u00e5r, og det vil v\u00e6re til fordel for eiendomsaksjer.\u00bb <br><br>Hypotesen kan testes gjennom dataanalyse, makro\u00f8konomiske indikatorer og tidligere m\u00f8nstre \u2013 noe AI kan hjelpe med i stor skala. Men som i vitenskapen, b\u00f8r du ikke bare se etter bekreftelse. Du b\u00f8r sp\u00f8rre: Hva kan motbevise antagelsen min? <br><br>Hvis inflasjonen plutselig stiger, eller sentralbanker signaliserer det motsatte, m\u00e5 hypotesen justeres. Investering blir da et eksperiment, ikke et dogme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tennis-1\"><strong>Feilen mange gj\u00f8r<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ghostkit-custom-2rNpOE\">Forskere, investorer og AI-brukere kan falle i samme felle \u2013 bekreftelsesskjevhet. Det vil si tendensen til \u00e5 s\u00f8ke bevis som st\u00f8tter det du allerede tror. <br><br>En investor som er forelsket i teknologisektoren, eller en dataforsker som allerede \u00abvet\u00bb hva AI vil finne, vil nesten alltid f\u00e5 svaret de leter etter. De l\u00e6rer bare ikke noe nytt. Den vitenskapelige tiln\u00e6rmingen krever det motsatte: \u00e5 lete etter sprekkene i din egen logikk. Det er der innsikten kommer inn. <br><br>For eksempel tror en investor at \u00abteknologiaksjer alltid g\u00e5r opp p\u00e5 lang sikt\u00bb. Hvis de bare leser positive nyheter om Apple og Microsoft og ignorerer synkende marginer hos mindre teknologiselskaper, tester de ikke hypotesen sin \u00e6rlig \u2013 de beskytter bare egoet sitt. <br><br>En mer vitenskapelig tiln\u00e6rming ville v\u00e6re \u00e5 sp\u00f8rre: \u00abUnder hvilke forhold presterer teknologiaksjer d\u00e5rligere?\u00bb \u00abHva kan motbevise tesen min?\u00bb Denne tankegangen hjelper investoren med \u00e5 oppdage svakheter i strategien sin f\u00f8r markedet gj\u00f8r det.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tennis-1\"><strong>Konklusjon<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"ghostkit-custom-ZKiwBv\">Enten du jobber i et laboratorium, et investeringskontor eller med en AI-modell, gjelder den samme regelen: Tenk f\u00f8rst, sp\u00f8r senere. Vitenskapen l\u00e6rer oss at sannheten sjelden er absolutt, men alltid kan utfordres. Det samme gjelder investering. Den beste investoren er ikke den som alltid har rett, men den som er raskest til \u00e5 gjenkjenne n\u00e5r han tar feil og handler rasjonelt ut fra det. <br><br>AI kan hjelpe oss med \u00e5 analysere, simulere og forutsi \u2013 men den kan ikke definere hva som er verdt \u00e5 unders\u00f8ke. Det krever menneskelig nysgjerrighet og evnen til \u00e5 formulere en klar hypotese. <br><br>S\u00e5 n\u00e5r du vil bruke AI effektivt, ikke begynn med \u00e5 sp\u00f8rre: \u00abHva kan AI fortelle meg?\u00bb <br><br>Sp\u00f8r heller: \u00abHvilken hypotese kan jeg teste \u2013 og hvordan kan AI hjelpe meg med \u00e5 utfordre den?\u00bb Det er ikke AI som gj\u00f8r oss smartere. Det er m\u00e5ten vi tenker p\u00e5 f\u00f8r vi bruker den. <br><br>\u00c5 tenke vitenskapelig \u2013 \u00e5 formulere hypoteser, teste dem, s\u00f8ke motbevisninger og oppdatere konklusjonene dine \u2013 er kanskje den mest undervurderte investeringsstrategien av alle. <br><br>Hos AI Alpha Lab bruker vi kunstig intelligens til \u00e5 investere, men fundamentalt sett er selskapet v\u00e5rt bygget p\u00e5 en hypotese: \u00ab<em>Kan vi benekte at AI kan ta gode investeringsbeslutninger?<\/em>\u00bb <br><br>Vi s\u00f8ker \u00e5 motbevise denne hypotesen hver dag, og s\u00e5 langt er konklusjonen klar: Vi kan ikke motbevise at AI kan ta gode investeringsbeslutninger. Basert p\u00e5 de siste 5 \u00e5rene eller s\u00e5 som v\u00e5r AI-modell har v\u00e6rt i drift, og de 20 \u00e5rene med data vi har testet modellen p\u00e5 tvers av alle likvide aksjemarkeder, viser resultatene tydelig at en godt designet AI-modell kan sl\u00e5 markedet betydelig over tid. <br><br>Betyr dette at det ogs\u00e5 vil v\u00e6re slik i fremtiden? Nei, som nevnt ovenfor, er det beste vi kan gj\u00f8re \u00e5 kontinuerlig tvile p\u00e5 og teste modellen v\u00e5r.
